A high-quality Sound System is crucial

Having a high-quality sound system for an event is crucial, which is why we have invested in top-quality equipment, not just for our speakers and microphones, but for every component in the setup.

We believe in uniform sound distribution

The placement of loudspeakers is a skill that is essential for achieving uniform sound distribution. Fill-in speakers should be positioned a certain distance from the main speakers, while also being time-aligned and tonally adjusted. Honestly, I have never witnessed any of our rivals doing that, they typically just place a pile of speakers in front and blast the people near them, while making it hard for people in the back to hear properly.

For sound reinforcement, we use only QSC and Yamaha DSR series speakers, which stand out well above most other popular brands in terms of sound quality, performance, and features.

Sennheiser digital wireless microphones

We use Sennheiser EW-D wireless microphone systems, the digital versions of the very popular EW series. They have a much better response across the full audible frequency range when compared to analogue wireless microphones. This simply means that all the detail captured by the microphone is accurately reproduced at the wireless receiver's output. Microphone options include handheld, headset and lavalier microphones, and by making use of plug-on transmitters we can even change any wired microphone into a wireless microphone.

We use long-range antennas for wireless microphones

In larger venues or areas, we use dedicated long-range antennas, which prevent dropouts in the audio, usually caused by poor reception. These long-range antennas also effectively increase the range of our wireless microphones to well over 300 meters compared to the standard range of up to 100 meters line-of-sight, enabling us to successfully use them at, e.g., large stadiums.

Choosing the right mixer for the job

The mixer or mixing desk that will be used is determined by the number of input channels required and the complexity of the mix. We have several Allen & Heath and QSC digital mixer options with between 12 and 48 input channels, as well as a digital stage box, and various snakes. Many companies will quote for a 32 or 48 channel mixer for a small event where only one microphone input and one stereo input is required. Besides the much higher rental cost, it will take up much more space at the event. We will always quote for and use the most appropriate mixer for the task at hand.
