High-brightness full HD laser projectors
Our Optoma full HD (1080p) laser projectors can produce crisp and bright images even in well-lit areas. Their short-throw lenses enable us to place the projectors much closer to the screens and more out of the way compared to standard projectors. Combined with our rear-projection screens, we can place the projectors behind the screens, completely out of sight and out of harms way.
We don't project onto walls
We always use projection screens in conjunction with our projectors. We don't project directly onto a wall because not only does it look unprofessional, but the colour, texture, and reflectivity of the wall will affect the projected image.
Tripods for our projectors
For a functional approach and a neat and professional appearance, we use tripod stands for our projectors. We've seen others place projectors on top of boxes or tables, spending a lot of time adding books and other items in an attempt to adjust the projector's height and projection angle. Believe me, we've seen it all.
Front- and rear projection screens
Our Grandview 100-inch fast-fold projection screens with 16:9 aspect ratios can be used for front-projection (projector placed in front of the screen) or rear-projection (projector placed behind the screen). It works really well when a rear-projection screen is placed in the corner of a room with the short-throw projector placed behind the screen. By doing that, no floor space is lost in front of the screen, where a projector would have been placed in the case of front-projection.
Large format TVs
We currently have two Samsung 65-inch 4K Smart TVs on stands, which can be used for smaller presentations, product launches, etc., and one Samsung 40-inch Full HD LCD TV. The 40-inch TV can be provided with a tripod stand, which makes it perfect for displaying photos, information, directions, seating arrangements, etc. These TVs can be used in well-lit areas, but unfortunately not in direct sunlight.
Teleprompter / preview monitor
The 40-inch TV can also be used as a teleprompter or video preview monitor, e.g., placed at ground level in front of a podium. It is provided in a flight case and the viewing angle can be adjusted as required.
Placement
For optimum projection screen and TV placement, the number of attendees, the seating arrangement, the size and layout of the venue, and the content that will be displayed need to be taken into consideration. In certain instances, two or more projection screens and/or a combination of projection screens and large-format TVs might be a better solution. We can also provide LED Screens when larger and/or brighter screens are required. Our LED Screens are bright enough to be used outdoors in direct sunlight.
